First wisps of winter at Forked Meadow

The first wisps of winter are upon Forked Meadow. There’s been a dusting of snow and frost in the meadows.

A big, healthy-looking coyote has been making the rounds through the meadows every day.

Chilly, frosty mornings as reported by my eyes and our weather station.

Snow on the mountains around Monterey

We woke up to the shocking sight of snow on the mountains around Monterey! The mountain behind the airport had a pretty good amount of snow that stuck around for most of the day.

Chilly morning at Forked Meadow

Beautiful cold morning at Forked Meadow. My dad built a snowman outside the house. Poofy is enjoying the warm fire. The Ambinet Weather WS-2000 sensor mast is doing well out in the snow.
