Grandma’s birthday at Forked Meadow

It was my grandmother’s birthday today so the family got together at Forked Meadow to celebrate.

In the morning, there was a bi of fog out in the meadows before we were greeted by another crystal clear Sierra Nevada day.

The Start of Summer at Forked Meadow

I spent a weekend up at Forked Meadow to help change out the bobcat tracks to their summer treads and check out the meadow at the start of summer. It sure is beautiful up in the central Sierras!

A cheery, crisp day at Forked Meadow

Today was crisp and cheery at Forked Meadow. The snow is still hanging on some of the trees in the shade although most of the snow on the sunny side of the trees has unloaded. The creek through the meadow keeps flowing along.
