On our way up to the Dinkey Lakes Wilderness trailhead, we stopped off at the overview to look into the backcountry.  Mount Goddard, 11998, Red Mountain, and several others are back there.

Heading Up to the High Country

The high country in the central Sierras of California holds a special place in my heart.  We drove up to the end of the road to peer out into the mountains that I love.
