I took my Honda Pacific Coast PC800 out for a long ride through the hinterlands of Monterey County today. I went through Carmel Valley and over the top to Greenfield before heading further east on some new-to-me roads. I finally returned home later in the day. It was a thoroughly enjoyable ride dancing between fog and sun.
I took a spin on my Honda Pacific Coast PC800 down Highway 1 (the Pacific Coast Highway) to Lucia for some lunch. The restaurant and shop at Lucia burned in the last year but Big Sur Tacos had their taco trailer parked in the parking lot.
While Brent and Jesi were in town for our wedding, they rented a motorcycle and we all rode down to Big Sur on a nice little day trip. I was on my Honda Pacific Coast, as per usual. Brent rented a Kawasaki Ninja that they found to be a good bike.
