Placid water in the Monterey harbor

The water was placid in the Monterey harbor when we went for a walk this evening. And the waxing gibbous moon was quite pretty this evening.

Out at Asilomar

We went out for a walk today at Asilomar to check out the beach and get some sun. Finally! Monterey’s summer has come!

First wisps of winter at Forked Meadow

The first wisps of winter are upon Forked Meadow. There’s been a dusting of snow and frost in the meadows.

A big, healthy-looking coyote has been making the rounds through the meadows every day.

Chilly, frosty mornings as reported by my eyes and our weather station.
