Pinnacles National Park caves and High Peaks Trail

We went up to Pinnacles National Park to do the hike through the caves on the south side of the park and then over the top on the High Peaks Trail. We didn’t see any condors this time so we’ll have to be back soon to search for those elusive birds.

Low King Tide in Monterey

We had an ultra low king tide in Monterey over the weekend. There were rocks exposed that I’ve never seen above the water in the harbor before!

McKinley Grove just before winter

We went out to McKinley Grove the day after Thanksgiving to walk around in the big trees. The road will be shutting down soon for the season and the trees will wait until next spring for visitors.
