Heading Back to the USA

On my way out of Quebec City, I had some Tim Horton’s at the airport.

Canadian fire bombers waiting for the next wildfire season.

Up and away out of Quebec CIty.

Looking down on the Saint Lawrence Seaway and Quebec City.  See you later, Canada!

Another Day, Another Poutine Hunt

On my lunch break, I went out to find more good poutine.  This is the famous hotel at the edge of the cliff over the Saint Lawrence Seaway.

Now this is some good poutine!

An interesting historical statue.

Look at this handsome fellow!

Cannons waiting for the next American invasion.  Or maybe a British invasion.

A big plant on the outskirts of downtown.

Hunting Poutine in Quebec City

I had a little time between meetings to go hunting more poutine in Quebec City.

Canons on the parapet guarding against American attacks.

A gorgeous church.

Now THIS is some good poutine!

This poutine wasn’t so great.

A captured piece of artillery from World War I on display at the Plains of Abraham where an important battle happened in 7 Years War and also in the Battle of Quebec City.  Abraham was the name of the guy who owned the plains.

More canons parked and waiting for some future war.

Neat old building down by the waterfront.

More canons.  These protect Quebec City from obnoxious cruise ships.
