When the weather got very cold, we started seeing little mouse presents under our sink. In a little over a year living here, we have never had a mouse problem. I bought a live trap and put it under the sink. The next morning we had a new little mouse friend.
We decided to take the mouse out into the nearby open space to let it go back into the wild rather than dispatching him.
We put some nuts under a little bush for the mouse to have a good start outside.
Heather released him under the little bush to start his new life outside of our kitchen.
We walked back up the snowy path to our house. I hope our mouse friend enjoys his new home!
